What we collect, why we use it, and how to manage your data.

Who runs the site

MillionMinigames.com is operated by Peter Mayo. This policy covers this website, embedded game players, and game and player APIs. For questions or privacy requests, contact petemayo@gmail.com.

Playing and saving

You do not need an account to play. Your browser stores a random player ID, game history, ratings, favorites, public initials, display preferences, and saved progress for games that support it. These are used to provide the features you use. Browser storage remains until you remove it or your browser clears it.

Our server receives that player ID when providing player progress, rankings, favorites, ratings, and game results. It stores a hash of the ID alongside game IDs, outcomes, scores, ratings, favorites, and activity timestamps. A hashed ID is pseudonymous data, not a guarantee of anonymity. Basic play and result counts support the arcade and its rankings.

What becomes public

Game-level totals and average ratings are public. Submitting a record publishes your three-character alias and score. Signing a game's leaderboard publishes that alias with your results, best score, and rating for that game. Signing one game does not sign other games. Use made-up initials rather than your real name or identifying information. Raw player IDs and their hashes are not returned by public leaderboard endpoints.

Optional analytics and cookies

Optional analytics is off unless you enable it in Privacy settings. If enabled, Google Analytics receives page views, game IDs, starts, results, scores, ratings, and duration, along with technical information such as browser/device information and network information. Google Analytics can set first-party _ga cookies, typically lasting up to two years. We disable Google Signals and advertising personalization in our configuration.

With the same opt-in, we collect game-quality measurements such as time spent, retries, help use, and stage reached. Cytd's AI visibility script also reports recognized AI referral sources and uses session storage to avoid duplicate reports. Google and Cytd receive connection information, including your IP address, when their scripts or endpoints are accessed. Their processing is also covered by their privacy notices. The Cytd Blog link works without enabling these scripts. Optional analytics scripts are always disabled in embedded players. Sponsor and lesson links send no added click beacon from this site; visiting a sponsor opens its separate site and privacy practices.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track disables optional analytics even if you previously enabled it. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not undo data already sent. We do not currently run advertising networks, sell personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Camera, messages, and hosting

Camera games ask for browser permission. The current camera game processes frames on your device; this site's code does not upload or retain camera images or audio. You can decline permission and use its manual controls. Revoke camera permission through your browser settings.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments. Avoid sending sensitive information. Cloudflare hosts the site and database and processes requests and technical information needed to deliver and secure them, such as IP addresses and request metadata. Fonts are served with the site. Service providers may process data in the United States or other countries.

Purpose, retention, and your choices

We use information to provide gameplay features, maintain rankings, improve games with your optional consent, respond to messages, and protect the service. Where applicable, our grounds for processing are providing requested services, legitimate interests in security and operation, and consent for optional analytics.

Player records currently have no automatic expiration and are kept until deleted or no longer needed for the project. Quality statistics are retained as game-level aggregates. Emails are retained as needed to answer requests and maintain relevant project records; security logs and provider-held analytics follow the providers' retention settings. We do not promise a retention period we cannot verify.

Privacy settings lets you request deletion of server-side records associated with this browser's player ID and clear local game data. Clearing browser storage alone does not delete server records. Deletion removes player profiles, favorites, individual ratings, and attributable records; non-identifying historical game totals may remain. Cached public pages and backups may take time to expire. Keep the player ID until a server deletion succeeds. If you have lost the ID, we may not be able to locate your records.

Email us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about our processing. Tell us what you want changed; we may need to verify control of the relevant browser ID or email address. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location and may include portability, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal, and complaints to your local regulator. You will not be penalized for making a privacy request.

Children and updates

Parents and guardians should supervise children's use. Children under 13 should not email personal information or publish identifying aliases. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information beyond what is permitted to support the site's operation, and we do not offer a verified parental-consent system. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it. Optional analytics should only be enabled by adults.

We will update this page and its date when practices change. Material changes that require new consent will be presented before the affected optional processing starts. Other websites linked here have their own policies.
