FUTURE FOOTFALL

A one-button side-scrolling platformer where every tap arms an automatic jump exactly 0.82 seconds in the future. A translucent ghost pad previews where the runner is expected to be when that timer fires; the player never has to collide with or manually activate the pad. Time the tap so the auto-jump fires at the lip of an approaching gap. Too early and the runner jumps and lands before the gap; too late and the floor is already gone.
